Verified Purchase. For what reason have I spent dozens of hours trying to find an ‘anti-fog’ pair of work protective eyewear that actually doesn’t fog?

None of them work, and none of the sprays work either. It’s a scam. These safety glasses are the ticket!! Sure, if you sweat profusely, you need to give these a quick wipe maybe every 30 minutes if you sweat profusely, and clog up the steel mesh with your sweat.

You aren’t stuck trying to wipe your protective eyewear every 60 seconds or so. This invention is so obvious it’s genius. I heat my house with wood, so I do a boatload of wood chopping – which is very physical so I sweat a lot.

Regular protective eyewear is extremely frustrating, as I fog them up really badly in anything under like 90 degree heat, and I sweat a lot as well, so I get sweat running down regular eyewear constantly and it’s impossible to see and work safely – can’t swing a 8 lb splitting maul safely if you can’t see!

If you aren’t sure, buy them and give these a shot. Really worth losing the frustrations of regular protective eyewear.

Excellent product at the price point. They are plenty large for protection, and also conveniently fit over my regular eye glasses.

Have had a couple close call occasions cutting palm fronds which break off and swing back into my face. The sharp thorns would easily take out an eye.

Once got a one and a half inch gash into my forehead after the frond bounced off the goggles. And have fortunately always worn safety goggles for such work.

These mesh lasses are a perfect compromise solution to the fogging and heat problem of goggles. They are tight enough in around the eyes to provide almost as good protection as goggles, and will more likely be worn by me for chainsaw work and other activities where I have sometimes skimped on safety in the past.

May also add the goggle version of these to my gear later, but for now the price was too good not to jump in. I bought these to use when doing chainsaw operations in the back yard.

Pros: The warp around design is great for additional eye protection.

The fine mesh is excellent for stopping all but the finest particles. Do NOT fog up like conventional glasses do. Cons: They look a little silly, but I’ll take that over foggy glasses.

I’ve had my eyes scratched by twigs and limbs many times so I was looking for some protection that would allow some air to circulate around my eyes.

You can not were safety glasses in the South in the summer, too hot. These work well. They are still hot to wear, but they are the best alternative that I have found.

These do work but they aren’t attractive, just warning you. I walked through the house with them on and they scared my teenager daughter.

My coworker said I aged 20 years when I put them on. They are high and protective on the sides, but it does make them look like senior citizen sunglasses.

But they don’t fog and thus are safer than regular safety glasses which easily fog, making for dangerous working conditions. I will wear them when working by myself, but not sure about when other people are around.

These are fine, I got them for my brother-in-law who drives a tractor with an attachment that mulches up the tumbleweeds on his property. Occasionally when this is happening the machine will fire a ballistic rock or pebble towards him which can be unpleasant.

I figured these would also let his eyes “breathe”, which sounds like it’s mixing up sensory organs, but could prevent fogging. One person found this helpful.

These glasses fit perfectly over prescription eyeglasses.
